Has DW4 stopped wearing the knee brace for good? David Hood?

noticed in all the pics and videos of practice released to this point that Deshaun isn't wearing his knee brace. I remember him saying during ACC media days that he would wear it this season and likely wear it for the remainder of his career.

David, do you know if something has changed and if he and the coaching staff have decided to let him play without it?

I think they are going to see how he does without it when the pads start. Next time we have him or Dabo I will ask what the true plans are

Keep in mind Tajh Boyd had the same injury coming out of hs

Wore the brace his first year while he was a redshirt and then lost it after that and had no further injury. I trust the trainers to do what they think is right.

it is scary to see pics with him not wearing it but maybe it slows him down and im sure if he doesnt have it on that he feels like his knee is 100 %. I already think the worse when he gets tackled. If he doesnt wear it this year i may have a heart attack.
