My wife got me the shirt for Christmas with the Tiger with a top hate. I think it is a cool shirt but can someone explain the history of the logo and saying?

plantation owner. Seeing the tiger in a top hat to me does not represent that, but I do think at one time there actually was someone who dressed up this way at games.

The Country Gentleman (top hat and purple formal tails) was still present on the sidelines in the early 70's. I don't think that we had a Tiger Cub at that time.
