Actually a new find in red wine category: Sardinian Cannonau
Similar to Cabernet but more fruity and a little dry. Sardinians often live into their 90’s.
Introduced to this in Italy 2 weeks ago....
Cannonau de Sardegna wines tend to be high in anthocyanins and polyphenols, antioxidant-rich compounds which have been linked to heart health.
