Since 1997, we've gone 10-6, with TWO (2) 4-win streaks. And these ghetto-turds want to harp this "fear the thumb" bs??
I've been Clemson for life and well aware of the record, but looking at it in black and whi... Orange and garnet - really shows the dominance of us in the series. Funny how they want to refer to history - as long as it's only 4 years of history. Good thing their history ends in just a little over a week.

We're 21-11-1. And with FOUR (4) x 4-win streaks!
The point is, we've been stomping your a$$es for a century now. You've won 4 games - ONE TIME. And you guys are the ones that always refer to the "statistical gerrymandering" (i.e. "fear the thumb"). If you guys could learn to count past 5 without using your hand, you'd realize we are, BY FAR, a superior team.

maybe even go back a few years to the mid 70's. I think that's a time period that most can relate to and recall. I believe most people would call that the "modern era" of college football also. We beat them 4 times in a row not once, not twice, not 3 times but FOUR times.

yeah, you could have gone back to 1988 and added a third 4 game win streak...or back to 1980 and added a fourth 4 game win streak...
Over the past 32 years, 16 years (or 50%) of the time has involved a 4 game win streak for Clemson.

which includes the first 57 games of the series being played in Columbia (during which time Clemson won 4 in a row three different times and at one point won 7 in a row), and you're still our b!tch !!!!

it's embarrassing. The only saving grace is that your streak comes during your brief all-time peak, where you actually have a decent program. Took two hall of fame coaches (earned at other schools, of course) to bring you to this point.
We all know that's a short lived deal. As soon as Lord Spurrier limps over to the old folks home, you'll be back to your rightful place battling it out with Vandy and Ky for 5th or 6th place. We know it. You know it. Everybody knows it. Buy up all the plaques, stickers, figurines, and commemorative footballs you can, so you can reminisce this era to your grandkids.

Then why bring it up because you don't hear GT Fans proudly proclaiming 49-27-2 do you? I mean if you want to look at ownership that's 75% They have a streak of winning 15 in a row or 32-4 in a 36 year span. Wow big whoop they lost 2 in a row and that really is all they care about. I am just saying this because i really care about you Clemson fans you sound like idiots proclaiming a 60% win percentage. Because it isnt ownership it is a majority.

When you guys have been getting smoked - forever. Check out that overall record since you were born - thread. No matter how you slice it, pretty much everyone has roughly a 66% Clemson average. Remember, it's SC that only wants to count the last 4 years.

1940's: SCAR 5-4-1 (congrats! our boys were off fighting the War)
1950's: SCAR 5-4-1 (dominant era of SCAR football)
1960's: Tied 5-5 (features first games actually NOT played in Columbia)
1970's: Clemson 6-4 (tide turns here)
1980's: Clemson 7-2-1
1990's: Clemson 7-3
2000's: Clemson 7-3
2010's: SCAR 3-0 (got a big head start here, but suspect that's changing soon, and we'll win the decade as usual)

lol this thread is hilarious.
when I watch ESPN, CBS Sports or every other media outlet in the world talk even briefly about our next game or even Clemson football in general, I've never once heard them say a word about anything in this thread. The only thing anyone is the country outside of Clemson fans knows is that we've dominated you lately, and I haven't heard a single person say that was going to change anytime soon

Is because amidst your best 5 year streak you've had you have been beaten consistently, why else would you reach back to history. Most of the streaks y'all have had occurred when we were a non-factor. You were expected to beat us then, now that Clemson is competing on a national level and still losing to USC is demoralizing for the fans, that's why most Carolina fans rub it in. I know I wouldn't enjoy beating Clemson near as much if you were a constant 6-6 team for the past 4 years.
