Anybody ever talk on the microphone in Death Valley?

I think this broad in Michigan is getting a bum rap. And I can't stand Michigan.

I've showed up at a Clemson game or 4 with a few beers in my belly, but I have also talked on the mic at Death Valley completely sober.
When you try to talk you have to wear ear plugs. The reason is there is a couple of seconds delay in the time it comes out of your mouth to the time you hear yourself on the speakers. This totally messes with your head. You start dragging out your words. Like this broad did. They put some earplugs on her and I'm positive she'll sound normal. That's why musicians have a speaker pointed at them at concerts or they wear earplugs/headsets. That's also why some drummers will be inside a plexiglass dome.

unnerving unless you prepare for it by concentrating closely. I didn't wear earplugs and thus, had to force my words steadily. Still, a difficult task....
