My wife and I visit the casinos on the Gulf Coast (MS) a couple of times each year to make a contribution to the local economy. At our age we fit quite comfortably with the geriatric set at the casinos.
On our most recent trip a couple of weeks ago we were confronted with a dramatic change in the casino patronage. The casinos had just opened legal betting and all casinos had sports books. The people standing in long lines to make bets were much younger and looked like they had just been granted a parole.
