Don't get too excited yet

We r off to a good start. However there are lots of 5's that are not committed. We need to land at least 2 or 3 big ones for is to maintain. I have a feeling we will drop a bit but will stay in top ten.

"Clemson Is Coming" says Stephone Anthony (Class 2011)"
"Why NOT Clemson"
"Why Not Dabo"

Hard to gauge since some of our best classes ever ...

... were before we had "guru's" rating the kids.

What would our 1982 and 1983 senior classes have looked like if Rivals et al rated out of high school? How about the fabulous group that graduated Clemson in 1990?

We need to hang on to our recruits, though. We have a history of being highly rated in the summer and losing guys late in the process. Nkemdiche, Dalvin Cook, Marlin Lane, Craig Loston, etc...

Cook is the only one I would have kept. Nkemdiche is good but we have better that aren't freshmen, not saying I wouldn't want him and we need depth but he wasn't clown star.

I wouldn't put Marlin lane or loston

In that convo. Yes we lost them but we pulled Lane's scholly bc of an arrest I believe and Loston decommitted, along with many others in that class, bc of tommy bowdens firing. We have had alot of recruits decommit to us over the years for whatever reason esp in the the 2013 class. I think we had 5 or 6 decomitts that year

Yeah, Dalvin wanted to play in the mighty SEC for those

I wish Cook was with the Gators. He signed with FSU so we have tp play him every year.

Danny and staff brought in some unbelievable classes in the late 80's. Time will tell but it would be hard to match those. We were as talented as any team in America.

in terms of offensive lineman then yes

But overall no, well at least not yet. Lets wait and see how it turns out.

So far, so good...

I think its shaping up to be...
Right off, does anyone know what our highest ranking
ever has been, any publication? (final ranking)
Pretty sure I have seen #8- don't quote me on that.

Several players left on the board (for me) ;)

DL DJ Jones or Albert Huggins
WR George Campbell
RB Ty'son Williams (or R.MCcloud)
OL Austin Clark
DL Tim Settle

Just to name a few :)
