2014 TE Jeb Blazevich visits Clemson (Warning: Not pleasing)

Nov 25, 2012, 7:05 PM

via ESPN Insider:

Jeb Blazevich was able to see two of the schools he is considering this weekend. The results were mixed.

The Watch List prospect was primarily in Clemson to see the Tigers' offerings. He also saw South Carolina, which beat its archrival 27-17. Blazevich seemed a bit disappointed in the reaction from the crowd.

"It was intense, but not as intense as others," the junior from Charlotte (N.C.) Christian said, comparing the trip to the many others he has taken this fall. "Afterwards, all the fans were like, 'Oh well.' "

Despite that, Blazevich said he was impressed with other aspects of Clemson's campus. The family-feel atmosphere and offense were noted, he said.

"It was good," Blazevich said. "I really enjoyed the trip."

Blazevich is being recruited primarily by Danny Pearman, Clemson's special teams and tight ends coach. The 6-foot-5, 240-pound prospect has well over a dozen scholarship offers from ACC, Big Ten and SEC schools. Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State and South Carolina and Virginia Tech are some of the more notables.

That comment about it not being as intense as others pisses me off. A lot.

Guess he needs to read tigernet

he was probably taken back by idiot kids and adults storming

the field to high five, take pics, and get autographs after gettin our arses handed to us for the fourth yr by our archrival. i love our tradition, but have never had the urge to go on the field after a loss...not even as a kid. i love my tigers win, lose, or draw. but i don't feel the players want a bunch of back slapping after a heartbreaker.

"Idiot kids"...They are the ones that keep it in perspective

Nov 25, 2012, 7:15 PM

unlike many adults.

Maybe the idiot is the observer...

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

maybe the observer does not celebrate losing..that's all ***

by the end of the game it felt like the coots stadium

Nov 25, 2012, 7:21 PM

I haven't been to a game in over 2 years so it was pretty embarrassing to see so many gamecock fans in the stands - and the "game....####" chant felt like we were at williams-brice. How can the administration not notice?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I can see why he thought DV was ho hum

I recently took my fiance up the Clemson to watch the VA Tech game. We were both suprised how chill the crowd was. No passion...maybe we need more drunks in the stands.

Things have indeed changed over the past 15-20 years.....

Nov 25, 2012, 8:16 PM

Clemson has changed in many ways. Too many out of state kids and not enough home grown, born and raised Clesmon people.

Couldn't agree more. Way too many yankees at the school now.

Danny Pearman. Enough said.

Re: Not surprised. Judging from Tiger Net, we are ok

Nov 25, 2012, 9:24 PM

with losing to SC as long as we win 9 or 10 games.
