Pretty sure it would have been a lot better had he left off a few emotional comments. I could see him calming down in a week or two and offering an apology and everything will be forgiven. Sometimes it’s easy to forget he is still young in grand scheme of things.

Personally I still look at him as a former starting qb for my school that had a part in leading us to a great season after the best ever left. He is doing what he feels is best for him and I can’t knock him for that. However much I didn’t appreciate the pop shots but I forgive him.

if he's man enough to apologize. I hope so, but I've got my doubts.

Great starting record 16-2, Winning Percentage 88.8%

Sep 26, 2018, 9:44 PM

Played on great teams during what Dabo calls "The Good Old Days" Had the very tough Job of replacing the best player in Program History. Very Athletic, Great Runner & Adequate Game Manager. Weak Arm and Weak Passer of the ball, especially on passes of 5 yards or more (lots of dirt balls & over throws). QB of the 2017 ACC Champions (MVP) and Playoff semifinalist. Always appeared to be a very nice young person and Good Team Leader and stayed out of Trouble. Also someone "when things got thick, he thinned right out". After he lost his starting job for 1 game he decided to transfer and run the Coaching Staff down to the Media (Slap in the face, didn't get a fair shot, etc). Graduated with a Degree from Clemson! Through the good and the bad I still thank him and wish him nothing but the best. I think this is pretty accurate but it's Just my POV.

Go Tigers, Beat the Cuse & GOD Bless Clemson!!!!!!!

I’m too lazy to look it up. Does K.B. have the best WL record (% wise) for a QB in our history?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'm pretty sure Watson has the best record as a starter

Sep 27, 2018, 1:00 AM

I think Watson's record was 32-3. He got credit for the 2014 Georgia tech loss even though CLEMSON was ahead when he got injured.

Watson - 32-3 - 91.4%
Bryant - 16-8 - 88.8%
Boyd - 32-8 - 80.0%
CLEMSON 2012-Pres. - 76-11 - 87.4%

These last 7-8 years have truly been amazing

Go Tigers, Beat Cuse & GOD Bless Clemson

Positive . He was 16-2 as a starter and kicked Miami's butt. Does no good to ever dwell in the negative. Go Tigers!

If Trevor is successful and stays healthy most will forgive his attitude.

If Trevor fails or gets hurt and we NEED KB then most will hold a grudge against him for bailing on his team to no benefit to himself. He could redshirt this year and still be the backup if Trevor was lost for the season yielding him a final season in his system with the best WR's in the country.

I think Trevor will be successful, very successful, but he could slip and break his hand tomorrow and we would have one D1 quality QB on the roster after having 6 just a few months ago.

In the end I think KB is hurting his football future and employment future outside of football by scorning many Clemson fans who have supported him.

Since he graduated in May does it matter about the transfer? Didn’t he already red shirt or wouldn’t he be able to play anywhere as a graduate student just like Christian and many others this year

The guy lost out on the chance to win a second ring with his brothers.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I want to remember him for the great performance

Sep 26, 2018, 10:42 PM

in last year's ACC Championship game against Miami. He was outstanding.

Today, I remember him for making a poor decision to leave the team and say unfair things while doing so.

Moving forward, I will probably remember him as the QB during that one season between our two greatest quarterbacks ever (Watson and Lawrence). I'll probably stop there, but if I look back at his career in detail, it will be with the realization that he played hard and could run pretty well, but wasn't a very good passer and limited our offense as a result.

Spurrierish....

I think we'll view him as the coots view spurrier...

Did some great things, but walked out on his team when things didn't go his way.
