student recruiting into the midwest and west. Perhaps we can pick up a son or daughter from one of those rich Texas or Oklahoma oil barons and he can pump lots of money into our endowment and other funds.

I think we made in-roads recruiting in the northeast because of our games in Boston College. Texas and Oklahoma could be a prime recruiting ground also for those wanting to get away from home and going to the east coast. Clemson is a jewel on the east coast and once they visit--Clemson could pick up lots of new students from an area we have not actively recruited thus spreading the Clemson name and brand and making Clemson even more a national destination and national treasure.

GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great post. I have been telling people all along that recruiting will get better if we are able to get into Texas and Oklahoma.

I tell you one place I would like to see us get into and that is St Louis. It is a very underrated area to recruit. Also into Illinois and Iowa for OL.
