All I know is a co-worker who is a big dollar booster to the roosters was sharing today that Muskrat has been given the deadly "vote of confidence" by Ray Tanner & Co. with the caveat that he must make changes to his staff. He has been hearing that Chad Morris is their number one target to take over as OC. Personally, as little as I know about USC, they don't seem to have the talent or depth to try and run at the tempo Morris prefers. Ironically, the same booster says that it may be Tanner who ends up being the sacrificial chicken before this is all said and done.

The Chad's tempo no longer works. It was a good gimmick in its time, but its time has passed. Now if you try to run that crap now suddenly the defense starts dropping like flies stricken by unseen maladies.

Understand Chad might not be HC material, but his options if he goes the OC are faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar higher than UofSC LOL
Going with Gus @ Auburn or replacing Sark at Bama could be his options.

TheChad was a fairly successful coordinator. Then TheChad was fired for being a bad head coach at an SEC school. His offense there was absolutely pathetic, but he could recruit as proven by his ability to out-recruit Dabo for the prized QB Chandler Morris.
I'd say TheChad would seem like a better candidate for Head Coach at UofSuCk than a coordinator position. He seems to fit their typical coaching profile.

I would bet that Chad's success with that QB is that he saw who was sitting in Clemson's QB room.
