I find it interesting that we can line up and sneak it out of our own end zone to preserve a win, but we can't line up and sneak it into our opponent's end zone for a score.

The game was over when we got the ball on that last play. UL gave up. The one or two yards we got meant nothing. They had no wind in their sails. They'd shot their wad.

The only way UL could have won the game is if there was a bad snap in the shotgun and they covered a fumble.

I think you're missing the point. Point being: if under center can be run successfully from our own EZ, why not run it from the 1 yard line for a TD on the last possession? Almost cost a W yesterday and did cost a W vs. FSU. I love Morris and thankful for all he has done, but for crying out loud. Does common sense not come into play here?

If his shoulder was too banged up for a td, then it was too banged up to sneak it out of our end zone.
