Woodrow must have been the bomb sniffing dog at Georgia Tech for the past few years.

Is Doc a hero or not a hero? Great American or not?

Jun 7, 2016, 1:15 PM

nm

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Confused about conferring HERO status?

Jun 7, 2016, 2:40 PM

Not sure if he qualifies for American hero status?? Does it make a difference that he was Paid to perform even if it was just in Alpo? Are you only a hero if you volunteer?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That's a slippery slope. Supposedly he was given treats too

Jun 7, 2016, 2:58 PM

It was all about the treats and Alpo. There was nothing altruistic about Doc's work. Still a hero and great American?

Congrats to Doc and Officer Owen. Doc and his handler have had to put in a lot of hours behind the scenes to train for this monumental task. They have done a necessary task in the times we live in to ensure our safety while we are in Death Valley watching Tiger Football. Wish I could buy Doc and Officer Owen a steak dinner ! Thanks for what Doc and Zachary did ! GO TIGERS !!!
