A Massey-Ferguson with 6' disc. But, I went small this year and got some 12' wide roll of landscape cloth. After I rounduped the weeds I put down the cover and cut an X and took the post hole digger, added some degraded gin trash dirt, epsom salt, osmocote fertilizer. May put a little calcium nitrate out beside some of the plants.

I've had a couple of different tillers and they are a pain in the asss! I would prefer a shovel and hoe if I felt like I wanted to till something. I have considered a PTO tiller for the tractor but you can buy a lot of vegetables for $2000+

A rear tine is preferable to front tine. Briggs & Straton or maybe Kolher engine. Something you can work on.
