Wayne Gallman is the real deal 24-139
Deshaun is healthy. Ran the ball very well. I hope people realize that's the first entire road game he has played
The first team defense proves it's championship caliber
Greg Huegel with 2 big field goals in his first road game
OL with 5 guys who had never started a road game held its own. Not great but did what they had to
Ben Boulware=a bad man
Kevin Dodd played well and had a huge sack
Tankersley is legit opposite Alexander
16 days to go to work and get ready for the Domers
Plenty of room for improvement. Louisville played extremely hard with a sense of desperation. It was a very good win and I feel very good about the season. Really big things possible

DW isn't a year out from ACL injury.

He's only 9 months out from the surgery. He laid on the ground a few times to check his leg. He seem to gain confidence in his health as the game proceeded.
It's tough to get past the mental part of having an ACL surgery. We know the knee is healed, DW knows the leg is healed but his body reminds him every time he goes down that he had all the pain and time spent recuperating from an operation on that knee.
His confidence will go back to sky high in a couple more weeks.

road game. He ran great, just short armed some throws and had some drops. He is the very least of our concerns

Glad to come away with a W. The difference is, we're not that, "one play away from winning a game" anymore. Now we're the team that has that crucial drive. Or on the D side, thank you Coach Venables! You are an absolute stud all game, and when you had to make a play, you did what you do. I'm biased, but best DC in the country IMHO! That's a good team despite an L to Houston. They'll win plenty of ball games this year.
