every home football game. I was in a fraternity (KA). Those were great times. My kids don't understand what going to a band party is. They think going to a party that has a DJ is bigtime. Here are some bands we had:
Archie Bell and the Drells Chairmen of the board Tams Drifters Band of Oz Janice......and the list goes on and on. Do fraternities still have band parties after home games?

Band parties after games and any weekend were still going strong into the 90s for the fraternity and sorority scene.
Not sure about these days but man what a great experience.
As if games etc weren’t enough, late nights with live music and beautiful women sure topped it all off.

Way back in the day I went on a double date - two 1st class young ladies XO's and a KA named Buck. Good dude. It was the early 80's. A mix of beach, R&B, dance pop, British new wave, of course southern rock, and some rock 'n roll. From beach to Rick James to Billy Idol and AC DC. What a great time to be at Clemson.

I remember they had concerts in Harcombe dining Hall ... remember Jackie Wilson there. One time they had Bob Hope in Littlejohn Colliseum soon after its completion. When he came out he said "this is the best looking garage I have ever been in"! LOL

working Event Staff (Show Pro's) for the spectacle. I was living in Johnstone and sold my concert ticket after camping out to get it. I don't remember where the line started but it went all the way down Williamson Rd. I camped on the killer hill between Shotgun Alley & Woodland Dr.

Did i see Drivin N Cryin play at an upstairs bar near TTT?

This would have been one of the years from '88 to '92. I clearly remember going to an upstairs bar across from Tiger Town Tavern, located between N. Clemson Ave. & Sloan St., to see live bands on a regular basis. What i can't really remember but sure seems to be the case that one of the groups i remember seeing there on multiple occasions was Drivin N Cryin. Am i remembering this correctly or am i likely wrong on this group being there?

I was there 88-93, I remember seeing Driving and Crying a couple times but I couldn't tell you where either! Must have been a few beverages included to dim the memory. I remember the Violent Femmes there one year and obviously the Stones as well. Bands were a regular and we followed this Blue Grass Hillbilly band around campus too, can't remember their name.
OT, but there were a lot of big comedians come through while I was there too. Pauly Shore, Carrot Top, Seinfeld are a few I recall.

idk but it was between Judge Kellers and Sloan St. Tavern. The long staircase was directly off of the main drag's sidewalk. You went up the stairs and turned right into the bar which seems like it was just 2 small rooms.

Was that called Rumors in the mid 90s? We used to go there at times since it was the only place we could get into before we had our fake id’s.

I believe it was the "Purple Moon" run by Big D and Nic Holtzouser. It was over their BBQ place "The Piggy Strut" They pissed the townsfolk off by painting it pink.
