Good news about Venables.

My wife was at a recent outing with friends. Brent’s wife, Julie was there to. Conversation in the group progressed from raising children until they were grown and retirement plans. Brent’s wife said that they were planning on retiring in Clemson and staying in their home on lake Keowee most of the time and also buying another place at the beach to enjoy.

I know anything can happen and that’s a good ways off but it’s nice to hear that he’s not only satisfied, he’s also not wanting to leave.

I thought when we gave him the biggest asst coach's salary that would indeed be the case .

Must be some kind of special coach to afford a second home at the beach. Apparently they haven't rounded up enough to go ahead and buy one. If they got a a loan and bought one they could rent it out enough to make the payments, and maybe have it paid for before retirement.
