Jan 14, 2019, 9:32 AM

Round 1:
Clelin Ferrell (top 10)
Dexter Lawrence (top 15)
Christian Wilkens (top 20)

Round 2:
Trayvon Mullen (late)

Round 3:
Tre Lamar

Round 4:
Austin Bryant

Round 5:
NONE

Round 6:
Hunter Renfrow

Round 7:
Kendall Joseph

That's my best guess.

What makes Bryant so far below Ferrell?

I know Ferrell is better but Bryant had great production also. Just don’t understand the huge gap scouts are projecting

Dunno, but Ferrell is supposed to go as high as the 2nd pick overall.

You forget about Mitch Hyatt?

That list looks good imo, but, I think AB goes 2nd or 3rd round. Also, Mitch Hyatt will be a second rounder I think.

Hyatt isn't supposed to go that high. He is ranked something like the 15th best OT. I think he wil have a good career anway.

I think you forgot Hyatt. And Bryant will go higher than 4th round.

What about Mitch Hyatt ?

Jan 14, 2019, 10:19 AM

I say possible late 1st rounder, more likely early 2nd round.

Also anyone heard about Muse and Simmons decisions yet ?? I may be late to the party but have not been online or heard anything yet. TIA

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I agree, probable 2nd round. He will almost certainly be a

right tackle in the league, not a left tackle.

I think Hyatt is a 3rd rounder or 4th.

I think Austin Bryant goes higher, but other than that, no

huge differences I see. It is all about needs in the draft. Sometimes the players raw talent does not match up at all with where they get taken.

If you add Hyatt and Huggins in this draft. We have the potential to tie the most ever drafted.

Mitch Hyatt undrafted? Not a good look for us, only kidding but I’d say he’s 1st or 2nd round.

1st Rd: Ferrell (top 10)
Wilkins (top 15)
Lawerence (Top 25)
Late 1st- Early 2nd: Mullen
Lamar

3rd Rd:Hyatt
Bryant

4th Rd:Joseph

6th Rd: Renfrow

I think Lamar and Mullen could easily be 1st Rd guys especially looking at the teams in the playoffs needs. Lamar is the second or third best ILB prospect in this class imo and Mullen is a rangy man 2 man corner with solid athletic ability.

Bryant will go before the 4th round I can see him going in the late 2nd tbh. He's our best natural pass rusher imo and I think he's going to destroy the combine.

Hyatt is a solid pass blocker I think teams will shy away from him early because he doesn't have a ton of lower body strength and doesn't really set the edge in the run game. I do think if a pass happy team sees him available in the mid 3rd it would be worth while grabbing him.

Kendall is going to get dinged for size and I'm guessing he won't run well tbh. He was so productive though teams are going to have to look his way for STs and eventual starter/rotation.

I hope these guys don't go to teams like the Bucs or Bills. All of them can become good players in the league.

As 76er said above, too much depends on team needs. Also, trading of picks to move up for a need they think may not be there later. My recollection is there are not enough good DTs in the NFL and they are always looking for big men who have a good motor, which will help our bigs.

Also, I think all our guys will get a slight boost over a similar player with off the field issues. In the past maybe not, but in todays atmosphere teams are considering it more than ever.
