Good grief Richt. You took this hype to a whole new level

Clowney is a great athlete. But give me a break.

No wonder UGA has a hard time beating SCU….

Mark Richt is a softie. Sorry you can't be the best football player, and be weak against the run.

He is the best player in college football, in my opinion, but in the WORLD? I don't think so. I think JJ Watt's stats last year prove he is a better defensive lineman, especially since he put up 20.5 sacks and another 24 TFLs as a 3-4 end in the best football league in the world. Clowney could be the best one day but lets not get ahead of ourselves.

He's dang good, no doubt.

But I'm not sure I'd crown him the best player in college football, much less all football (the later is simply laughable).

There were other DL last year who had similar impact and numbers as he did, and thats not to take away anything from him. He's dang good, and he played very very well against us.

SC's O-line coach said the same thing about Bowers, and their nobody OT shut him down. All eyes are on the clown, and his ego is as big as the titanic- it too will sink soon enough. Nobody gets that much focus for this long and doesn't let it get in their head.
- good example: NCST CB David Amerson, in 2011 he leads the nation with 15 picks, would have been the #1 pick they said, if he were eligible to enter the draft-- then in 2012 he couldn't cover a turd with the Sunday paper.
