Of the 107 players who left school with eligibility remaining, 30 (28%) went undrafted. Per Phil Savage, only 47 of the 96 (49%) underclassmen (no degree) were picked in the first four rounds. Quite a few are from small or foreign schools but 17 are from P-5 schools.
The SEC's first pick in the draft was #9 Leonard Floyd OLB Georgia.
Tennessee has not had a player drafted at any position since 2014. Marquez North was passed over.
Zac Brooks & Travis Blanks were eligible because they had already graduated.
253 players were taken in the 7 rounds of the draft. Actually, the Round # is misleading with all the extra picks (like the baseball draft). The draft was only 3 picks short of 8 rounds (32 x 8 = 256).

3 players affect our schedule.

NC St, SU, and AU.
14) David Grinnage TE NC State
13) Ron Thompson DE Syracuse
11) Avery Young OT Auburn

If those guys thought they were good enough to go early, they will be missed when their teams have to play CLEMSON.

2-3 players are not identified with their respective school.
