Sunday evening, I was all set to stay up till about 11 MST, when I would normally ask Shorty for his sideline report. But fam wasn’t feeling good, I had a flight the next day, and forgot about it...went to bed early.

Monday morning, I wake up in a panic around 6. I knew I had forgotten to ask, and the Jounge would be anxiously awaiting hearing about the follies of Cutcliffe and Co. So I get lilmissgrouching setup for breakfast, login to TigerNet...ANDWHATDAFUKISEE??? Shorty’s Sideline Report - Duke.

Folks, we know how this works. That report doesn’t get posted till I ask. The football gods have been angered by our impatience, friends. Retribution may very well be nigh. I hope not. But I got bubble guts thinking about it.

I woke up sick and with a swollen knee and made the very hard decision to stay home.
I was sure my absence would cost us the game so I’m more than happy to place the blame on you.
