and it is a slap in the face of all victims everywhere
that so-called sports fans celebrate this team and its school.
Where the hail are all the Women who are mad about the NFL
and its presumed failure to protect women from domestic violence?
Why are liberals so uniquely silent about this case
even as the Nittany Lions go to bowls and ride up the rankings?
Could it be that Liberals/Women only care about people
who fit into a special category assigning them protective status
by an overreaching government?
Shouldn't young men nave rights, protection, and respect as well?
I wonder if you could pass the HB2 law in Happy Valley
without a wink and a knowing smile???

who have abandoned these victims less than 4 years after Joe Pa's death.
you decry the treatment of people of race or gender inequity,
yet you stand idly by as the good citizens of Pennsylvania
sweep the indiscretions
of Penn State administrators and heroes alike
gently under the rug.

for a Lion TD, celebrating its football glory,
remember the admiration that Joe Pa and the Lion coaches reveled in
even as young men were victimized under their knowing noses.

kids, those who have no one to speak for them, into something political. Why?
I've been very outspoken on thia board about Penn St, JoePa, and Sandusky... but my being outspoken here doesn't change anything for those kids anymore tham your misplaced criticism.
Sandusky is in jail, JoePa is dead and (outside of Penn St) is disgraced, and the football team didn't get the death penalty. Yes, I believe it should have, but it didn't. If it didn't happen when the story was new, it sure won't happen now. So the best I can do is not watch Penn St amd hope when I see a boxscore that they have lost.
As far as helping the abused directly, I believe that their names were not made public. What I can do to help in general is fight for legal and social equality while suppporting organizations that provide shelter, education, and a sense of community to all of us that need it.
I hope you feel ashamed of using something so awful in effort to illiclit strife and divide here.

The NCAA should have suspended all Penn State athletic activities until Every administrator that had anything to do with athletics was fired. After that, they should have sent them back to division II for 5 years.

You don't honestly think that anyone , regardless of politics or gender or what-have-you would be ok with any type of sexual abuse , do you ?
Are you more concerned with the dispicable acts that have been committed against minors by these animals , or more with landing blows against a couple of groups that you obviously feel slighted by in some way ?
