Plyler was talking about it this morning, ankle injury + Marijuana incident, and will sit out our game.
Does that make UGA's #1 and #2 wideouts unavailable for our game?

This was never news.
Mitchell has been out for the last 3 weeks and JSW was always going to sit.
Our best receivers are Bennett and Conley. If you don't know them, you should.

Bennett and Conley are their best receivers because they have no choice but to be. I mean that's common sense, when others are either hurt or suspended.

They aren't our back ups, they are out starters since Tenn game last year.
Conley stats: 46 receptions for 651 yards, 4 td's and 14 ypc avg.
Bennett stats: 41 receptions for 538 yards, 4 td's and 13.1 ypc avg.
Yea, looks pedestrian to me.

They likely were starters. Both have played a significant amount since True Freshman (Conley came on more his Soph year)...this really isnt debatable.

I am not saying not having MM and JSW doesnt suck...both are very fast/explosive athletes.
However, Conley and Bennett are our goto guys and have been for the past few seasons. We have a couple guys coming on (just like Clemson I would guess) that looks to be great 3rd, 4th, and 5th options.
And yes, I look forward to having MM and JSW back...just not sure when that will be.

Conley and Bennett have been our most consistent receivers since they were true freshman (both SRs this year with 1200 yds+ receiving respectively in their careers).
Would be nice to have JSW and MM for this one, but it's not like we dont have solid depth without them for the opener. (Rumph, R. Davis, Tibbs, Towns, McKenzie, etc).
Even without these guys, UGA's returns more exp at WR than Clemson...
All is not lost.

Conley and Bennett are STARTERS.
Mitchell or JSW would have been 3rd starter as well in 3 wide.

Mitchell is better than any of those guys when healthy. Scott- Wesley might be third in the order after Mitchell and Conley.
You're lucky that those guys got experience last year, but you really didn't look good when you had a lot of player out, even with Murray playing.

So German it's Franks
Conley is fine and he is our 2nd best receiver. So our #1 receiver is out and #4. Sounds like from camp a lot of people are stepping up wanting that 3rd spot. I guess we'll see what it looks like come Saturday
