Georgia Tech crime. This one is as bad as it gets.

Tech students have always had to deal with more crime than most, but this took place in an on-campus dorm room. Unreal. How Tech recruits anyone when parents see news stories like these is unreal.

When I left the GT last year, there were homeless men at each of the trashcans removing and eating thrown away food. That was nice.

I thought those were the students. ;) Seriously, Tech is one of the top engineering schools in the country, but I'd think twice before sending my kid there. It's gotten out of hand here the last couple of weeks. There was a random shooting "gang initiation" on the downtown connector at 2:00 am last Saturday night. It's gotten to the point where each student should be issued a Glock in addition to their slide rule. Crazy.

Georgia Tech is in a bad part of town. Too many thugs.***

The crooks were wearing UGA colors and had a handgun... maybe some relevance there?

Would-Be Robber Shot Dead By Tech Student.

Probably not allowed to carry on-campus. Makes for a good target.

Not fair to say dont send your kids there. Remember that guy who raped and killed the girl in clemson? No matter where you live there are bad people.

The VAST majority of the crimes that are occuring around GT

are off the north western part of the campus at night after 2 am and are occuring to people who are walking alone. Just flat out stupid to be out at that time of day in that area by yourself.

I delivered pizza while attending Clemson. I was all over campus and the surrounding areas, alone, until 3 am every weekend for years. I know Clemson is not Atlanta, and that's the point.

That's why we all carry guns in Texas.

And those were probably former recruits who couldn't grasp the massive complexity of PJ's offense.

I cannot wait to play that middle school option with a real defensive coordinator.

^^^^^^^Point

I hope Venables has our guys ready for that game. I hope we send GT fans home crying in their beer. It's time for payback.

When I lived on campus at Clemson, our dorm room doors were always wide open during the day, we always locked them at night though. Didn't want anyone (criminals, drunk and confused students, etc.) wandering in at night.
