Great news, but college for kids and parents nowadays is so

Feb 5, 2013, 4:19 PM

much more expensive than it was for students 10 to 20 years ago, even adjusted for inflation. I love Clemson. My father went to Clemson, I went to Clemson. It is part of who we are and it is a great school. However, Clemson and the whole University system on a national level are putting kids in school right now and the next generation into a big financial hole they might never be able to dig themselves out of with the way tuition keeps going up.

20 students per class?...

Feb 5, 2013, 4:51 PM

That may be the average, I don't know what metrics are used, but evidently they forgot to include the College of Engineering and Science in their count. Not even the most major-specific classes in Engineering have less than 40 per class at best while certain classes which apply to broad groups of students can have anywhere from 100 to 300 students. I smell statistical horse shi t, but what do I know anyway...I'm only a student attending Clemson...

I'm aware the other major aren't like mine at all. My larger point is that there is a huge discrepancy between classroom sizes and majors that isn't, in my opinion, fairly addressed but that average.
