BC is clearly not worried...

Oct 11, 2013, 7:08 PM

The football team is at the movies in Greenville. Yes really. So much for prepping the night before.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

You realize our team normally does the same thing....

Oct 11, 2013, 7:11 PM

for home and away games?

Its an easy way to keep the team together before they are in the hotel for the night.

Re: BC is clearly not worried...

Oct 11, 2013, 7:11 PM

We go to the movies every Friday night before games too.

um yes we do.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Unless it's a noon game, almost every team does this***

STUPID YANKESS WILL LEARN THEIR LESSON TOMORROW WHEN TAHJ AND THE BOYS SHOW THEM WE DESERVE RESPECT BECAUSE WE ARE THE 3RD BEST TEAM IN THE COUNTRY AND THEY ARE UNRANKED.

Oct 11, 2013, 9:55 PM

you got a point. lol

I see what you did there ;)

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That was my point

Oct 11, 2013, 7:24 PM

Tradition or not. I'd be surprised if we were next week before FSU

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The team stays in Anderson and attends a movie EVERY

Oct 11, 2013, 7:27 PM

game except a NOON start. Been doing this back 40 years

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Got it. Clemson sees movies before every home game.

Oct 11, 2013, 7:32 PM

My point is I'm surprised BC is. rather than prepping more for the biggest game of their season tomorrow in the loudest stadium they'll ever walk into.

I understand routine and relax. Still surprising in my opinion. I'll leave it at.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

We do it road games too. It's a team bonding thing

Oct 11, 2013, 7:35 PM

not sure why this surprises you, every college team I know of does this, no matter who they are playing

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Got it. You should read more than blog posts....

Oct 11, 2013, 7:56 PM [ in reply to Got it. Clemson sees movies before every home game. ]

http://www.tigernet.com/story//Behind-scenes-real-Tajh-Boyd-Quarterback-team-leader-cleanup-12045

and it starts:
"The Friday night before Clemson’s season opener against Georgia, the Clemson football team boarded the buses and made the short trip from the hotel to a local movie theater.

Whether at home or on the road, the Tigers almost always watch a movie together – as a team – the night before a football game, and Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney reminds the players of who they are and what they represent, a not-so-gentle reminder to leave the theater in better shape than they found it. "

Re: Got it. You should read more than blog posts....

Oct 11, 2013, 8:02 PM

That should take away your question about BC doing it...note it said we did before the UGA game. Every team pretty much does, as said, kind of a bonding thing for the team.

Guys. I get it. Wasn't talking about Clemson.

Oct 11, 2013, 8:03 PM

I was talking about BC. I know for a FACT Georgia was running mock plays in the hotel parking lot downtown Greenville night before the game then into meetings. Typically they do something fun but instead we're preparing for the Tigers.. Showing some respect for the team and atmosphere they were walking into. If Georgia was... BC def should be. All I was saying. Guess I'm alone on this and you feel they're ready for us.

I wasn't questioning tradition, or what the tigers have been doing for 40 years.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Jawja prolly shoulda watched a movie then

Oct 11, 2013, 8:11 PM

which car represented Grady Jarrett?

Don't think they are setting a trend.

Oct 12, 2013, 1:20 AM

Overload them w new stuff before the game so they over think instead of reacting...or stress them out more....oh yea btw they are still kids playing a GAME in college. I mean really...the weekend is here. By this time you know it or you dont.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Maybe they are prepared and confident. Let's hope we are
