He would however retain his redshirt year for future use if he were to have an injury or some other issue within the 4 game limit.

What are there options. Can they still go to school on scholarship. Can they work out with the team or join them on the sidelines on game days

He was a Freshman when he was suspended and he will be a Junior before he can play again. His Sophomore year is gone forever.

All he can do is practice, lift and get stronger and faster for his last 2 years.

I did see where if the suspension is 365 days, he could possibly play in the CFP later this year. So I guess technically he could play as a Soph.
