Funny how Kirby Smart's recruiting

Is affecting Alabama's recruiting more than Clemson's.

You know, considering the fact that Athens and Clemson 200 miles closer together than Athens and Tuscaloosa are.

Also, Mark Richt never had a top 5 class or anything.

We have heard at least 10 different excuses as to why they got the tiny little peckers kicked in. AND NONE OF THEM ARE, "CLEMSON WAS JUST BETTER"!!

Saban and Smart both churn through talent. We've lost a few OL to UGA, but that's about it. They're going after the same guys, we have our own criteria.

Mark Richt was a good coach, but mediocre recruiter. He killed us on recruiting RBs, though. Missing so badly on DW4 probably cost him his job.

He did well with Golden's players at Miami, but couldn't get any talent to replace them.

If you don't think we compete with Georgia much in recruiting, then look at the offer lists. I guarantee you that 75% of our commits had offers from Georgia and vice versa.

Also, another dumb statement that you made is that he's a mediocre recruiter.

In his last 11 years at UGA, his average class was #7 in the nation. He only was out of the top 10 3 times.

That, my friend is elite level recruiting.
