Funny Coot Story...

I rarely bring up the coots on here, but I'll make an exception for this one.

Today I was having lunch in a small cafe. It was a late lunch, so everyone cleared out and it was just me and this other fellow. He noticed my Clemson hat, so he struck up a conversation about the season. After a few minutes, he apologized and said he had two friends about to join him that were Gamecock fans.

About that time they walked in and sat down, and he says: "Me and my pal over there were just talking Clemson football before you two idiots showed up." One of the coot fans says: "Oh yeah, what was y'all talkin about...how y'all are going to win the National Championship this year?"

Then the other foot fan says: "Yeah, they say that every year. I'm just waiting on when it's going to happen."

I just grin, look straight at him, and say: "It already has." My new Clemson buddy about fell out of his chair laughing and those two numbskulls didn't know what to say. Pretty funny.
