I’m excited to see what the offense looks like with TL getting a large majority of the snaps. I’m going to assume he’ll make some bad plays and some awesome plays, but what I’m really interested to see is how he runs.

DW ran a lot his sophomore year and about half as much his junior season. In our offense, defenses need to have a healthy respect for the QB run/scramble. Dabo has said TL can run, but we really haven’t seen it. So I’m interested to see how it develops.

Also, a nice 5 TD performance would really help out this week behind us. But no pressure Trev. ??

Both had to run to execute the game plan. Trevor does not need to run to execute the game plan which is customized for his skills and skill development level.

DW also had Cole Stoudt, an experienced back up behind him when he was doing all of that running. Remember DW's last year, they didnt run him as nearly as much during the season. In the playoffs they let him rip it up running, but not until then. I would expect the coaches to limit the number of designed runs for Trevor. Let the RB's get the bulk of that load and protect Trevor a little bit.
