Fuller and family

Jul 28, 2012, 3:13 PM

Heres my thing. Why in the world would his brothers factor into the decision. One graduates this year....the other next year.

Its your choice and your life. Dont pick something just because your brother went there.

Still family, pressure and expectations on a 17 year old. I hope he is mature to step out and pick us.

Will Fuller's commitment fully offset the disappointment of James Davis' brother and Jerai Grant's cousin? not becoming Tigers?

I personally could care less about them. There is too much good going on at Clemson to fret about others who didn't choose us.

Fuller

thats why I think he will be a tiger. I think his mom coming last weekend and getting to meet the coaches was deal closer. I think fuller wanted his mom to see what it is that makes him want to be a tiger and I believe we got the moms seal of approval.

If he joins us and brings his mother along for a game in the valley, she will become an instant fan. I've been to a number of other stadiums and it just made it more apparent that the atmosphere is very special here at Clemson. The sunset over the lake as the backdrop for beautiful stadium...can't ask for much more. Plus, where else are you going to see the most exciting 25 seconds in college football?

Thats why we are having more and more success landing kids is because we are finanlly getting the big dogs on campus. Once a kid gets here Clemson sells itself unlike that dump down near two notch rd

Ive posted before commenting on inside knowledge. For what its worth, my coworker played at VT in 83 & 84. He's still involved with the Hokies, and attends camps and alumni activities. I will add this sidenote, this guy is a class act.

Anyway, we were talking yestersday about Fuller. He told me that Fuller was turned off by Foster's abrasive attitude. And the fact, the Hokies rarely play man up on the corners. He told me that Fuller wants to develop into a lockdown CB. Fuller wants to develop skills that will take him to the NFL. He said he would be SHOCKED if Fuller joined the Hokies. After speaking to him at VT. As for Green, he thinks the Hokies have him locked up.

Go Tigers

It would certainly make it easier on family $ if he went
