From UGA's perspective, Clemson is the t#rd in the punchbowl

Jul 24, 2018, 5:36 PM

Living in Georgia and having many friends and relatives who are alumni, I know their attitude about Clemson.

They are an entitled fanbase, and its not without some good reasons. They are the flagship school in a state loaded with talent. So they are already a little butthurt that Tennessee, Auburn, and Bama continually raid their state. But they can live with that a little because those schools are SEC heritage programs. Clemson raiding their state is even more galling to them, because in their eyes, Clemson is a little upstart program in a basketball league.

Clemson's 2016 championship was a real hard for them to take because it added one more border school that had won it all.

Think about it...other than the coots, Georgia is surrounded by schools that have won it all more recently than them...UF, FSU, Auburn, Bama, Tennessee, Clemson, and even Tech.

Not without good reasons...

You're giving them excuses where they are not needed. Just write the satirical post citing the facts. They don't need any of your backdoor compliments.

In ATL, every summer we get to hear about the second coming

that is UGA footfall.

Usually the talk stops sometime in October or November. We're just having to put up with a lot more of it lately.

When you summarize it that way, makes me think that

How about a few new SEC slogans ......

Jul 24, 2018, 7:00 PM

"UGA Football .... irrelevant since 1980"

or

"University of South Carolina Football ....... Irrelevant since 1892"

or

"University of Tennessee ..... Who cares"
