Friday's Ga. Tech game a microcosm of an era.

At some point during the 2nd half, as we were overcoming that big halftime deficit and surging ahead, it struck me how much that one game was indicative of the past 10 years of Tiger basketball.

With opportunity on the horizon for something special, we seem to come out tight and lethargic, regardless of the competition, and leave some stinkers behind. Needing just one more regular season W to guarantee a winning season, coming out of the gates we looked unprepared and incapable of mustering much, if any, fight. A super dud of a half and a double-digit hole.

Then once it seems like all is lost, little to hope for, and few prospects for success - boom! We play like men with our hair on fire and blow the doors off, playing inspired, winning ball up and down the court. That is, up to the point where it looks like redemption may be in hand facing the closing minutes - then just as suddenly we seemingly up and fold like wet tacos again, finding ourselves still on the outside looking in.

Oh well.

good post. Friday to me was sort of a corona virus game. The way we played the first half I was sure we had it
