Freeman was a beast

May 3, 2013, 11:51 PM

If he was 20-30 pounds more heavier, he would of been a first or second round draft pick. If I can remember correctly, he never missed a game and was a starter since rs freshman year. Alot of of people will blame S&C for not putting weight on, but most of that had to with not getting our nutritionist until basically after his senior year. It actually just goes to show u how good our S&C program is considering he went up against guys that weighed equal to more weight than him and did good throughout his whole career.

Exactly!!! I do whole Heartedly believe that Dalton will succeed and play on an NFL team some where. I know that a center really isn't that high on any NFL teams list to get through the draft. But I was disappointed that Dalton wasn't drafted. But most NFL GM's and HC know that they can pick a center up in the free agent market. I think that all of Clemson Nation would agree that the Jets got more than just a free agent center. They got a Very intelligent hard working FB player that won't have any problems fitting in and learning their play book in a short time. He will put on the muscle and weight needed for an NFL center in a few months. Good luck Dalton!!!
