Fran went gator hunting on Moultrie this past Saturday

with a couple experienced hunters. The spotted this guy before he dove, and managed to snag him a few minutes later. Fought for over an hour before getting a few crossbow bolts in him, and a few bangsticks to end it.



12'7", 521 lbs. I mean...holy shit.



The processor put up some pics of him being turned into sausage and jerky. I was also promised some sweet pants.

They process our venison and do an excellent job. Wood recommend!!!

Supposedly they process the alligator meat for free, if you let them keep the hide. Have a massive gator hide on the ceiling in there. Sons love going there to see the alligator on the ceiling. lol

Biggest we saw was about 10 ft and he disappeared quickly.

Hooked a 7 ft and reeled up to the boat and he "accidentally" came off the hook.

That is a nice one. It isn't as easy as it used to be.

But def never let my son get in the water. That lake is about 8 feet deep in the middle. could be gator territory anywhere.
