I really don't think that Dabo would step away from his own success at a school that was really ready to be saved and he did save it. And I don't think he would run back to Bama after 13 years in Clemson with mountains of success He has created for himself and Clemson just to to run back to Bama to take over a successful FB program that Nick Saban built. Dabo is a smart man that realizes that at Bama he would be judged by the fans by everything that Nick Saban has done. I just don't see Dabo leaving his success at Clemson walking out front in his own shoes to go and walk in Saban's shoes and be judged by Saban's success. Everybody would say that Dabo took over an already built championship team that just needed Dabo to do things the Saban way. Dabo will retire right there at Clemson Dabo's way. And the next HC up will have to walk in Dabo's shoes!!!

It would be because he either wanted to go back to his former home state or coach at his alma mater. It will not have anything to do with the money.
Bama could offer more money, but I mean what is the real difference between like $7M or $4M, for example? He's already stated--and acted in accordance with his statement--that money is not the most important thing in life, especially when you're already making as much as he is.
