Found another connection personal to Clemson today!

I have a (distant) relative who is buried on Cemetery Hill.

Susan Ella Griffith Henry (1865-1953). Her husband was Charles Benjamin Henry (1855-1941). Any historians out there who might know what their connection to Clemson was?

Have you tried ancestry.com? It doesn't cost anything to create an account and do basic research. All you need is the name, birth and death dates, which you can get from the tombstone, and you can find a lot of information. I have a paid account so let me know if you find anything that you want me to investigate.

Just haven’t found the tie to CU, which I presume almost has to exist for them to be buried where they are. I will keep looking. Thanks for the tip.

1930 census says occupation horticulture at Clemson College
