exactly.
it sucks that we won't be playing in charlotte, but at this point, it's best if we take care of business and fsu does too.
i hate it, but conference strength does matter. with all of the sec slobbering that goes on now, it's hard to believe that an sec team could go undefeated and be left out of the championship game. but that is exactly what happened to auburn not that long ago.
for the long term, we need the perception of the conference to improve. its that perception of conference strength that got bama a mulligan last year and will ensure that an sec team with the same record as another team will get the benefit of the doubt.
going forward, it'll be better for us if the acc's reputation improves. and that means hoping we win out and the noles do too.

YES.........The perception of the ACC is down in FB.
They get in and perception gets better. Especially if we are 10-2, 11-1. Would help stabilize this recruiting class.
Don't think it's not drilled in their heads by other schools.
