Yes - by all means. Lets put it on top of your parking place.

You can't be serious.

I'm with the others. Bowman was a home run last time we had Gameday. I too would like to see the stadium, but there's really no room nearby without having to displace thousands of tailgate spots, which would be a very tall order.

It's better this way.

I like it on Bowman - helps showcase more than football

Bowman Field has long been the centerpiece of the university, from the early days as a military college where cadets would drill there to current day where students sunbathe and play frisbee there. You've got Tillman Hall right there, the military memorials/statues nearby, and best of all, it allows for tons of fans to come watch and doesn't interfere with the normal gameday experience for season ticket holders and tailgaters.

The only other place I can think of would be across the street from The Hill, but that's too small, would displace parking spots, and wouldn't accommodate nearly as many people.

Bowman Field!

It's the perfect place.

Plenty of space, beautiful setting, and not in the middle of a parking lot.

Bowman field is the absolute perfect place for Gameday. As others have mentioned, which of the hundreds of people that pay thousands of dollars annually to support our great university and football team would you recommend they displace? Bowman Field is a beautiful, open, historic site that allows us to showcase our university as more than just a great football school. Historically, John Heisman coached our Tigers there. Additionally it does so without displacing anyone or creating anymore congestion for those getting over to the stadium. The only other spots that have any potential at all would be on the lawn at Littlejohn like the Tiger Tailgate Show, but with the volume of people, you are looking at displacing a large number of tailgaters. Other than that, maybe at Doug Kinsmore Stadium or Historic Riggs Field, but those have their shortcomings compared to Bowman Field.

It's a perfect spot to have it... and where near the stadium

would you put Gameday anyway? On the lawn at Littlejohn? Won't hold nearly as many people and they already have stuff going on there on Gamedays...

Hey, I stood on Bowman field from early morning till late afternoon when we were gameday against Georgia Tech in 2006. It was so much fun (my son was still a student) It's a gorgeous view with Tillman in the background and tons of people on the grassy area....I still have a pic of Corso with the Tiger head and Herbie wearing Tiger paws in my den.

Is perfect for gameday. Too much congestion for it near DV.
