Anyone catch this part?

Nov 12, 2012, 6:15 PM

In the group’s first meeting since June 26th in Washington, D.C., unanimous agreement was reached to:
- Lock-in a four team seeded playoff. The teams that will play will be the three highest ranked teams from the Southeastern Conference. In the event of a tie among the SEC schools for the third spot the fourth at large school will be bumped.

Academic performance for revenue sharing...

Nov 12, 2012, 7:02 PM

Share revenue, for the first time in college football history, based on academic performance as part of the funding formula.

So will this hurt the colleges that have higher academic standards? I mean, comparing some of the SEC schools to a Clemson/Duke/GT just by a grade point average, doesn't cut it as fair.

Some people can get an A+ at one college but at another the same body of academic work would only get the student a C-.

It would be interesting to see how they define academic performance.

I wonder if graduation rates will be considered??

If so, that school in Columbia's 55 percent is not going to fare very well.
