Roy Philpott ?@RoyPhilpott 3m
Tyshon Dye is now 215 pounds. BOOM. Clemson RBs coach Tony Elliot told us that moments ago.

I bet Dye will be the starter by midseason

I just feel he will slowly but surely take over. Not because McDowell is doing bad but just because he has the size to be an everydown back and will wear opponents out at times.

That'll depend on how well he picks up blitz packages***

I don't know about that... they passed to him a lot... but

as far as scheme goes, I think Elberton ran something a lot like grayson with a ton of pre snap motion, but mostly multiple running backs.

Whoever plays the RB position will have to be able to keep Tajh safe from blitzers. I doubt Dye had the overall blocking responsibility nor the caliber of defenders rushing his QB in HS that he will face in college.

And our Offense just keeps growing with threats. And we could put Gallman in the back field blocking and diving at Clowney's knees to give Tajh time to pick coots apart.

When Clemson plays against S.C. State after the Georgia game,.... Brooks, Dye, and Gallman are going to be taking the spotlight mostly on that day.

and hopefully we are 2-0 after S.C. State with the backups getting a lot of experience. Would have loved to see Kelly in this game.

Chad Kelly in the second game of the season? 6 months after ACL surgery? I don't join you in hoping to see him out there.

"would have loved to see" switches tense in mid-sentence. I'm the victim here.

In terms of pass-catching, I agree

But his running style never suited his body. He tried to run like CJ but had the body of Reggie Merriweather

I think he ran that way because he thought he was saving himself for NFL. He seems to run harder there.

Have an Emory Smith type moment in 4th quarter against coots to seal the deal on a great season.

Not me, I hope we can run 667 points up on the coots. I do think that if possible, Dabo would run the score up on spurtrash.
