questionable, at best. this is very good news. blanks has struggled a bit early, but i think (hope) it's just getting used to the safety position.

I thought the same thing. I did see an update on Boulware, saying his injury wasn't as bad as it first appeared, but no update on Blanks. I guess both recovered quicker than expected. That is a good thing. (Or, maybe, this list wasn't updated from last week)

They are only taken off the depth chart if they are considered out. It still doesn't mean they will start or even play. Blanks will probably dress, but he won't play if we don't need him. Carlos Watkins is the only exception because its a different situation, he will come back when he is ready.

Now that I think of it, I do believe you are right, and I seem to remember that is the same way it was when I was playing. I just had a little slip in memory. Thanks for straightening me out.

Heck, now that I think about it, Hootie would leave somebody on the depth chart whether they could play or not. We had one guy who had a caste on his leg, but he still was listed high on the depth chart. There were many things he did that didn't make much sense.
