We only start stripping when someone already has the tackle

the second tackler begins to try and rip the ball out. I think I remember what you saw. Christian tried to rip tha ball away from the RB but I think that our DT had him in his arms first.

That is usually done when we are not tackling all the way to the ground...its actually more of a rb thing for them to finish runs after the whistle and the defense tries to strip the ball
