After the Orange Bowl, wouldn't you have to put WVU in

Apr 30, 2012, 10:50 AM

front of us on the list?

One game isn't truly indicative of how good a team is

WVu had problems with Syrcuse and Maryland who's Ds are questionable at best. We lost to NC st, farily decent D, SC(a lot of NFl talent there), GT(that was more on our O never getting the ball in the game) and WVU(which was a complete and utter meltdown by our DC). They're probably taking this into consideration and think that 9 times out of 10 that outcome would have been different

No way you can say the outcome would have been different

9 out of 10 times watching that game. We didn't stop them once, not once. It would be closer maybe.

One game isn't truyly indicative but if that's all ya' got, you kind of have to go with it. We had problems with UMD also, plus Wofford and Troy.

You have to put WVU in front of us.

I think that our guys actually beat their own selves in that game....

At least on offense they did. We were going in to take the lead when Ellington fumbled on the goal line. After that, turnovers killed us. And we basically had to score on every possession to keep up. I still don't think we would have won, but had we kept the momentum, it would have been a lot closer.
