knew this kid would be a player eventually , got stuck behind some mediocre talent. hardest hitting safety since McDaniel.

... Alexander and Kearse coming in doesn't exactly hurt our cause in the secondary either. Breeland, Jenkins and Robinson all seem to be healthy again and we've got Peters back there too.

.. Not to mention Travis Blanks who has All-ACC if not All-American caliber talent already.

I know we lost a few starters, but why does it seem everyone is so down on this unit? I see a ton of potential and play-making ability back there personally.

the only thing we lost in the secondary was experience. No natural ability graduated. Watch last year's games. We served up 200+ yard to NCS in just a couple of minutes. All deep passes and two resulted in TDs.

Frankly, I'm glad they are gone.

That's just what our secondary needs, a bone crusher. Nothing deters a receiver coming across the field to catch a football like a ball busting saftey.

I'm feeling pretty good about the LBs but I'll have to see them play before I'm satisfied with them. The corners should be OK or better.

I know both lines are going to show us something we haven't see in over a decade.

Skill in the offensive backfield? Forgetaboutit!
