Question about the Start Time of 6:00 pm for the Event Tonight

I’m curious why the Organizers and City Officials did not agree to do this at 11:00am this morning or Noon. The reason being is it gives potential Anarchists’ and genuine troublemakers much more time to come in from Atlanta, Charlotte, Columbia, etc. I wish there wouldn’t be any, but unfortunately, this event has been promoted heavily on Social Media and bountied about heavily by the Socialists at ESPN, etc.

I’m wanting to go and take my kids, and show them that positivity and unity can from all of this. I was encouraged to hear about the football team, Coach Swinney, and other athletes being there and speaking. This should be a Clemson event to show support for our students and athletes. It does worry me how it’s being promoted, though. I want to be there with my kids to hear about unity and coming together from our Clemson players and coaches. I’m worried about people with nothing to do with the university trying to advance their agendas.

concern as it gives out of town trouble makers too much time to arrive. Finally, my last concern is who will be keeping everything safe. Clemson Campus Police and City Police? Pickens County Sheriff?
