Fly into LV and drive to natty...

Jan 3, 2016, 2:10 PM

If you want to do that trip, I found it's a lot cheaper plus you get to go to Vegas! It's about 4 hours to Phoenix from LV...Go Tigers!

You can certainly save some money on lodging...however

you're going to be spending 9+ hours in the car driving to Glendale and back to Vegas.
Drive safely and enjoy the game!
Go Tigers!!

Going to LV is such a bummer. Spending a few hours seeing country that you haven't seen before is not a bad thing. To me. Spending several hundred bucks to stay in Phoenix does not compare with being in Vegas and staying in a posh casino for a few dollars and enjoying all that the sin city has to offer. I, for one, am looking forward to this trip to see Americas team play. And I ain't talking about the elephants GO FIGHTING TIGERS.

Let the airlines and hotels control you if you choose to

Nothing against Vegas here--my wife and I have been

a number of times.
Seeing the burros in Red Rock Canyon, petroglyphs in the Valley of Fire and this time of year you can ride horses in the desert.
But spending 9 hours or so in the car in addition to the time I'll actually be in Glendale just isn't that appealing.
However you go, enjoy the game, be a great ambassador for Clemson University and be careful.
Go Tigers!!

I book a trip to Vegas for this weekend every year, so plans were done before football ason started. All I had to do was add on the tickets and rental car for the game, and I was good to go.
