Its because of USC( the Trojans). So some people are calling them SCU now.

early kickoffs have been considered a danger due to extreme heat, however late kickoffs are an inconvenience to people who have to travel a long way. no matter what, some people are gonna be unhappy.

air conditioned box and doesn't have to worry about how HOT it is outside for the thousands of us who sit there.
There is no reason I can think of for this first, early September game with no television to start in the hottest part of the afternoon. I only live in Greenville, but even if I lived farther away, I would rather travel home later or spend the night and not have to leave the game drenched and parched from the heat.
Maybe if we campaigned NOW to TDP, he would entertain a little later start for this sweltering time of year.

if we wind up being fatigued and play poorly everyone is going to be really mad and make a huge stink about it. I say someone (TB, or TDP) should make a stink about it now, and see if anything can be changed.
Does anyone disagree and think the short break will be good, if so please explain. Thanks
