1. Death Valley IS Clemson's stadium moniker. As noted in the article, it was named so first (before LSWho)...if you SEC circle jerkers are too stupid to acknowledge that, then you fit right in with the coots who also ignore facts.
2. Clemson's schedule is not backloaded so they wanna hold that against us? Before the season started, ND, FSU, GT, and road games with UL and Miami seemed pretty challenging. Clemson can't help the fact some of those teams lost some great players...it happens. We lost a few preseason and one of our star WR.
3. Have no problem with. Love the fact we bring in great recruits.
4. I can't speak for anything during that season... I wasn't alive then. I don't even use our 81 title in most arguments.
5. Only conference I know of that props each other's stats up. The entire SEC could suck and they'd still have several in the top 10...Bama coat tail riders need a lesson in perspective.

1. Technically? If being the first to name our stadium Death Valley doesn't matter what does? Head to head matchup for the rights? Sure.
2. Last year the weak sauce beat them in rivals week 4 to zip. Do the math.
3. What QB wants to hand the ball off to a RB 55 times in a game that only last for 64 offensive plays? What WR wants to block 55 times instead of having the opportunity to catch the ball?
Oh yeah, it's the type of QB who can't throw the ball and the type of WRs that can't catch it!
4. We run the cleanest program in the country. We have an ESPiN reporter on site who would love to find a stinky crack to stick his nose in. We don't have a contract with ESPiN like the SEC contract that says ESPiN will not persue negative stories about the ACC.
5. Of course you SEC fans stick together, y'all are ranked second behind Clemson, that's gotta leave a mark.
We'll see you in the post season...no wait, ESPiN's POC won't match Clemson and Bama in the first round because they don't want their babies embarrassed by another Clemson QB. OSU will care for you punks in the first round.

The fact that they have a section essentially devoted to the conference vs outsiders is just...pathetic.
I'll concede that the SEC is the best conference in the nation, but this weird circle jerk that they've got going on there would be funny if it weren't so sad & delusional. I'm actually someone who will root for FSU when they're in a bowl/championship/playoff. However I don't believe Clemson shares the win if FSU does well, as those SECers do with their programs.
If I were to guess why the SEC has such a situation with its fanbase, it'd be because:
1. The media has had such a huge love affair with the conference over the past decade that their fanbases have bought into the hype, and now believe that losing to highly rated teams validates their bad records.
2. The vast majority of their fanbases are boneheads, so they're perfectly happy to accept a system that allows them to celebrate transitive victories for their team thru the success of others.
3. With this weird setup, South Carolina/Arkansas/Kentucky/Ole Miss fans get to say stuff like "We would be 9-0 with Clemson's schedule!" and actually believe it AND get support on that claim from their SEC brethren.
Ignorance is bliss!
