....not going to make a habit of it but Citadel class of 94 comes first....  ......Go Bulldogs and hope we can keep it close for a minute and then onto the SC game.

when they play our Tigers. Pull for The Citadel with pride this coming weekend!! Military Appreciation Day at Clemson...Purple Out; it doesn't get much better than that. Here's to a Chicken Kickin' the following weekend!

Became a Clemson fan in the late 70's when I was 6-7-8 years old, but I am also a Citadel alum (95), so I'm right there with you. Makes it difficult cheering at the game...last time we played was 2008 and I kept wanting to cheer after good Clemson plays. (yesss, great catch...I mean NO tackle him!?!?)
But it's a nice payday for the Dogs and I get to see a lot of old classmates.

I'm not emotionally invested in the NFL like I am Clemson, but I do consider myself a fan of a couple of teams. Way back in 1995 when the Panthers were playing their inaugural season in Death Valley, I came to watch them play the Colts. The Colts are one of my favorite teams, so I wore both teams' colors; and I decided before kickoff that I'd root for the Colts on one side of the 50 and the Panthers on the other. It got pretty funny, especially when the game would cross the 50 mid-play; I'd go from "run! run!" to "GET HIM!" without missing a beat. I got quite a few amused looks from the fans around me.

against the Panthers. First NFL game. Lifelong Steelers fan, but I remember being on the Hill and more there for the spectacle of seeing Jerry Rice and Steve Young play, watching those guys warm up than anything to do with the Panthers.
